How it compares
VENTURIX™ vs. Leading Brand 1 vs. Leading Brand 2
Our technical observations and real-world comparisons.
-
Our film
- Leading Brand 1 Premium global PPF
- Leading Brand 2 Premium global PPF
Having worked extensively with premium global PPF brands over the past 6.5 years, we’ve developed a good understanding of what separates an average film from an exceptional one.
When evaluating VENTURIX, we looked beyond product specifications and marketing claims. We focused on actual film characteristics, installation behavior, optical performance, and the qualities that matter most to our clients.
Here are our observations from handling, testing, and installing these films.
At a glance
VENTURIX: top tier in 4 of 7 areas, close behind in 1, still being tested in 2.

Orange Peel and Surface Texture
Orange peel refers to the subtle, uneven surface texture that can affect how smoothly light reflects off the film. The less visible this texture is, the smoother and more refined the finish appears.
- VENTURIX
- Exhibits exceptionally minimal orange peel. In our observations, it has performed better than Leading Brand 2 and is remarkably close to Leading Brand 1, to the point where distinguishing the two can be difficult.
Our assessment
VENTURIX delivers an impressive surface finish comparable to what we expect from a premium global PPF.

Minimal orange peelLight reflects in a clean, straight line.
Hydrophobicity and Water Repellency
Hydrophobicity measures how effectively a film repels water, encouraging droplets to bead and roll off its surface. This helps make routine cleaning easier.
- VENTURIX
- Demonstrates extremely strong hydrophobic behavior. In our water repellency tests, it has outperformed Leading Brand 2 and performed virtually identically to Leading Brand 1.
- Technology difference
- VENTURIX utilizes a Chinese-developed Ultra Gloss top coating, while Leading Brand 1 incorporates a fluorine-infused top coating. Although the technologies differ, we’ve observed remarkably similar water repellency.
Our assessment
Despite using a different top coating formulation, VENTURIX delivers hydrophobic performance comparable to Leading Brand 1 in our testing.
Water spreadsA low contact angle: water clings and leaves residue.
Water beads and rolls offA high contact angle: drops carry dirt away.
Paint Integration and Film Invisibility
One of the defining characteristics of a premium PPF is how naturally it blends with the vehicle’s original paint. Ideally, the film should be difficult to distinguish from an unprotected panel.
- VENTURIX
- Performs very similarly to Leading Brand 1 in terms of how naturally the film integrates with the paint surface.
- Leading Brand 2
- Has a slight advantage over both VENTURIX and Leading Brand 1 in our visual assessments, offering an exceptionally natural appearance.
Our assessment
All three films perform at a premium level, with Leading Brand 2 having a slight edge in overall paint integration.

Optical Clarity and Color Neutrality
Optical clarity is particularly important because a good PPF should preserve the true appearance of the vehicle’s original paint without introducing noticeable haze or color shifts.
One characteristic we specifically observe is the film’s grayish appearance, or whether it introduces a subtle gray cast over the painted surface.
- All three films
- VENTURIX, Leading Brand 1, and Leading Brand 2 have all demonstrated comparable optical clarity and color neutrality in our evaluations.
Our assessment
We haven’t observed any meaningful difference in this category. All three deliver excellent visual transparency.

Adhesive Performance and Installation Quality
This is arguably one of VENTURIX’s most impressive characteristics and something that matters tremendously to us as professional installers.

Adhesive marks
-
Silvering
- VENTURIX
-
In our installation experience, its adhesive system has performed better than both Leading Brand 1 and Leading Brand 2 in several important areas.
We’ve observed significantly fewer lift lines, installation lines, adhesive marks, and instances of silvering. Silvering refers to the tiny reflective imperfections that can appear when microscopic air pockets or adhesive irregularities affect the film’s appearance.
These are some of the characteristics we closely monitor internally because they directly influence how clean and consistent the finished installation looks.
Our assessment
VENTURIX is exceptionally installer-friendly. And this is important because even an outstanding film can produce disappointing results if it’s difficult to install properly.
A film that lays down cleanly, conforms predictably, and minimizes adhesive-related imperfections allows our technicians to achieve a more refined finish.
For us, a premium PPF isn’t defined by the material alone. How beautifully it can be installed is equally important.
Resistance to Environmental Contamination
Contamination resistance refers to how effectively the film’s surface resists staining and the buildup of environmental pollutants such as road grime, dirt, mineral deposits, and other contaminants.
- VENTURIX
- Since the film is relatively new to our lineup, we’re still evaluating its long-term contamination resistance. Its strong hydrophobic performance is encouraging, but water repellency alone doesn’t guarantee resistance to staining or chemical contamination.
- Leading Brand 1
- Has provided us with a useful benchmark based on our years of experience working with the film.
- Leading Brand 2
- In our local experience, contamination resistance has been one of its weaker characteristics compared with our expectations.
Our assessment
We consider VENTURIX promising in this category, but we’re reserving our final judgment until we’ve collected more long-term performance data.
Road grime
Dirt
Mineral deposits
Other contaminants
Regardless of brand, proper washing techniques, regular maintenance, and timely removal of contaminants remain essential to keeping the film in excellent condition.
Long-Term Aging and Yellowing Resistance
This is one category where we believe it’s important to be completely transparent with our clients.
PPF aging involves several factors, including UV exposure, heat, environmental conditions, top coating stability, and the chemical composition of the film and adhesive layers.
- VENTURIX
- Uses a newer-generation Chinese acrylic adhesive formulation, which is an interesting development from a materials perspective. However, because VENTURIX is still relatively new to our lineup, we cannot yet make definitive claims about how well it will resist yellowing over many years.
- Leading Brand 1
- We have considerably more hands-on experience with this film, giving us a longer history of observing its performance.
- Leading Brand 2
- Since it is also relatively new to our Philippine market experience, we are continuing to monitor its aging characteristics under local environmental conditions.
Our assessment
Modern adhesive technology is important because adhesive discoloration can contribute to the yellowing of PPF. However, yellowing can also originate from other components of the film, so adhesive technology alone cannot establish long-term resistance.
Ultimately, real-world exposure over several years will be the most meaningful measure of how these products age in our climate.

Our overall assessment
What excites us about VENTURIX isn’t simply that it performs well against established global brands.
It’s that we’ve found a film capable of matching, and in certain characteristics exceeding, the performance we’ve personally experienced from premium international brands, while allowing us to offer it at a more accessible price.
We’re particularly impressed with
- Its minimal orange peel
- Excellent hydrophobic properties
- Optical clarity
- An exceptionally installer-friendly adhesive system
More time and experience are needed for
- Long-term contamination resistance
- Aging
We’re realistic about these areas.
We won’t claim that VENTURIX is superior in every category, because that isn’t what our observations tell us.
What we can confidently say is that VENTURIX has earned its place alongside the premium PPF products we’re accustomed to installing.
And for us, that’s a significant achievement.
Our goal in developing VENTURIX was never simply to create a cheaper alternative. It was to take everything we’ve learned from years of working with globally recognized brands and offer our clients a film that delivers the qualities we genuinely believe matter most.
Premium protection, exceptional installation quality, and excellent value.
That’s what VENTURIX is all about.
